Our Family
Vincent and Santa Maria Piazza came to Chicago from Nicosia, Sicily in 1904. They had seven daughters (Josie, Rosie, Ann, Mary, Florence, Prudence, Jean) and a son (Annunzio). From their children they were blessed with 21 grandchildren. Today there are over 160 cousins in the Piazza Family.

Our History
The owner’s of Piazza’s Pizza (Ken and Patty) are no strangers to running a successful business. They started their first business in 1976. The store was called PJ’s food (also known as the School Store) located at the corner of 65th and St. Louis in Chicago. There they sold groceries, lunch meat, sandwiches, hot dogs and homemade Italian Sausage. In 1985 they opened the first Piazza’s Pizza located at 11005 S. Kedzie in Chicago. They named it Piazza’s in honor of Ken’s mother’s family (Jean Piazza). In 1998 along with their children they opened the second Piazza’s at 8052 w. 111th Street in Palos Hills. Now they are bringing the same great food and friendly atmosphere to Mokena. They are located at 19608 S. LaGrange Road.

Our Food
Piazza’s offers a Thin Crust, Double Dough, Pan, Stuffed and Sicilian Tray Pizzas. They use fresh ingredients and prepare their dough daily. Pizza Slices are available for Lunch time. If it sandwiches you want try the Homemade Italian Beef, Italian Sausage, Meatballs or Breaded Steak. Add some Mozzarella or their homemade red sauce to top them off. Try the delicious Fried Chicken. For Pasta Dishes they offer Spaghetti, Mostaccioli, Chicken Parmigiana, Ravioli and Homemade Lasagna. For an appetizer try the Beer Nuggets (Fried Pizza Dough). Soups and Chili are made daily (seasonal). With a wide variety of items on the menu you can please the whole family. And for your special occasions they offer a full catering menu.
